Integrated Logistic Support

In support of complex materiel based projects or system, CAPDA provides an integrated and iterative process for developing a materiel based capability solutions that:

  • Optimises functional support and benefit to operations
  • Leverages existing resources that may be held by the organisation
  • Quantifies and lowers the life cycle cost including maintenance, spares support, training and facilities; and
  • Makes the system easier to support through an effective Supply Chain.

Supply Chain

CAPDA plan and manage the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of customers. The resources managed typically include physical items, such as food, materials, equipment, liquids, and staff, but could also include abstract items, such as time and information. The logistics of physical items usually involves the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation and warehousing.

For both Integrated Logistic Support and Supply Chain services, CAPDA model the complexity of logistics to deliver optimal solutions that deliver to specification and minimise the use of resources.
